Boil your kettle and add the required amount of salt to a jam jar or eye bath. Mix your boiled water into the container and allow the salt to dissolve. (1/4 teaspoon of sea salt to 1/4 pint of boiled water)
Allow this to cool to a warm bath temperature.
Place this over the eyebrow area to form a seal, then tip your head back so that the piercing is fully submerged.

Soak the piercing for 4-5 minutes.
When you have finished soaking, take a cotton bud and wet it in the salt solution. Use this to clean around the ball and the skin/piercing hole, gently removing any matter. You must clean the top and bottom. Gently push the jewellery up and down to clean the excess bar.
Rinse the piercing with clean water.
Next, take a clean cotton bud and dip it into the bottle of herbal tincture. Paint the tincture onto the excess bar and piercing hole. Do not rinse this off and let it dry.

TROUBLESHOOTING ..
Now sometimes your piercing can be a little red or swollen and even some healing bumps can appear around the piercing holes. this isn't an infection but does need to be treated. Ideally come into the studio for us to check out what is happening .But the first course of action is to get some camomile teabags. Mix up your your hot salt water as normal, but add a camomile tea bag to it for a minute, then take the bag out, allow to cool, but whilst still hot, fold and place over the front and back of the piercing. As it cools redip it in the hot salt water and reapply. do this for 5-7 minutes and then use the camomile salt solution with the kitchen roll and then soak for a further 5 minutes and clean as normal. Do this for 2-3 times a day and if the swelling doesn't improve then come and see us
